What it is, and what it is for
ROCKSOLAR 12 V 10 Ah Deep Cycle LiFePO4 Battery
A 128 Wh lithium iron phosphate battery in the same case size as a 12 V 8 to 10 Ah sealed lead-acid (a UB1280 or equivalent), with F2 blade terminals, so it drops into a fish finder, a kayak or ice-fishing sonar, a marine GPS, a ham radio go-box, a scooter, a robot or an alarm panel. At 2.8 lb it is under half the weight of the lead-acid battery it replaces, and it holds a flat voltage until it is nearly empty instead of sagging.
The built-in BMS handles cell balancing, over-charge, over-discharge, short-circuit and temperature protection, and it is rated for 3,500 cycles to 80 percent capacity, which is ten or more years of weekend use. Continuous discharge is 10 A; charge it with a 14.6 V LiFePO4 charger such as the ROCKSOLAR 10 A charger, or from a solar controller with a lithium profile, between 0 °C and 40 °C. For storage, leave it at 40 to 60 percent charge. 3-year warranty.
