What it is, and what it is for
The APsmart RSD-S-PLC Rapid Shutdown Device is a module-level solar safety solution designed for residential and commercial PV systems. It uses PLC communication and initiates rapid shutdown when the transmitter signal is lost.
The device meets SunSpec requirements and supports NEC 2017, 2020 & 2023 Section 690.12 rapid shutdown requirements.
