What it is, and what it is for
2 × ROCKSOLAR R-T12100B 12.8V 100Ah LiFePO4 Batteries
- Connected in series: 25.6V nominal, 100Ah (24V-class system), with 2.56 kWh nominal battery energy. Follow the manufacturer’s installation instructions.
- Cycle life: at least 6,000 cycles under manufacturer test conditions: 25 ± 2°C, normal charging and 0.2C discharge at 80% depth of discharge, until capacity reaches 80% of its initial value. Actual cycle life varies.
- Weight: approximately 12 kg (26.5 lb) per battery, without accessories; approximately 24 kg (52.9 lb) for the pair.
- Built-in BMS supports battery protection but does not replace correct charging settings, wiring, external protection or operation within specified limits.
- Charge only from 0°C to 45°C; discharge from -20°C to 60°C. Do not charge below 0°C or rely on automatic protection as permission to operate outside these limits.
- Battery warranty: 10 years. Warranty duration is not a guaranteed service life.
Nominal and Estimated Usable Battery Energy
Nominal battery energy: 2.56 kWh. Estimated usable battery energy: 2.432 kWh, calculated at 95% of nominal under ROCKSOLAR’s catalog standard. This is a planning estimate, not a manufacturer-stated usable-energy rating. The 80% depth of discharge used in cycle testing is separate from this estimate. Actual available energy varies with load, temperature, battery age and system limits; AC energy is lower after inverter losses.
