Foldable Solar Panels

Fold-up solar panels for charging away from an outlet: a power station, a phone or tablet over USB, or a 12 V battery through a charge controller. They fold to the size of a laptop bag and set up in a minute.

The 30 W panel keeps phones, lights and a small power station topped up on a camping weekend. The 60 W panel recharges a Weekender-class power station in a day of sun and is the better choice if you run a fridge or charge more than one device.

Output is rated at full sun; expect less under haze or at a low angle, and angle the panel toward the sun for the best harvest. For panels that stay on a roof, see rigid solar panels.

Before you order.

If yours isn't here, ask an engineer. It costs nothing and it's the step most people skip.

What if I'm not sure this is the right product?

Ask before you order. Send us what you need to run, or your pool or well figures, and an engineer will confirm the choice — it costs nothing. Or use the finder below, which sizes from what you actually run and shows its reasoning.
